Ever bought something because it looked great, only to stop wearing it because it didn't feel right?
The fabric is often the reason. For every fabric that made it into the collection, there were several others that didn't. Some were rejected almost immediately: too heavy, too thin or simply not right in color. Others made it much further into the process before being dropped.
Sometimes, a problem only became clear after a sample had been made and the fabric was actually being worn and tested. A fabric might look perfect on its own and still change completely once it becomes part of a jacket or a pair of leggings. That is when details like stretch, weight, recovery and the way it falls start to matter.

What Made the Cut
The fabrics that stayed had to earn their place. We looked at how each one behaved with the design, how it changed the shape of the garment and whether it could handle the demands of the finished piece. Our manufacturing partners also helped guide us through the options, bringing their experience with different materials into the process.

Clothes for Every Part of Your Day
For EASEN, the final choice also had to fit the way the clothes are meant to be worn: across different parts of the day and in different settings.
The fabric needed to support the design without taking over, so the finished piece could feel natural whether it was worn for movement, a coffee break or whatever came next.
At EASEN, we believe good clothes should make the day feel a little better. What’s the piece that does that for you?
